I would call your amount of emptying "normal". When I do the Bell Scales, I also empty after every other scale, sometimes after every scale if the humidity is high or the temperature is cold. Just keep an eye out for all those opportunities while playing to empty the horn and you should be okay. Hey, with all that metal, condensation is a fact of life.
