I play a Holton 6/4. . . all the ones that I have played have had the one and three G at the bottom of the staff, but that's not bad once you get used to it. . . other than that the tuning is pretty darn good for a horn of this size, quite reasonable. . . Mine's a Rusk cut if that helps at all. . . these are great horns and the price is reasonable. . . the only "modern" horn I've liked as well is the Nirschl York copy and that costs twice as much. . . and the one I played had the exact same tuning issues. . . Did you see the 6/4 York Richard Fraiser was selling on this BBS, man, I'd like to give that horn a try. . . if only I had an extra 12K sitting around. . . gotta go practice so I can win a gig and buy horns. . .
