Just a suggestion. Why don't you stop squauking about a composer that never even thought about the tuba? Just enjoy his legacy through recordings and transcription.
Get back into the practice room. Practice your ass off for that next symphony audition!
Those other 500 guys that show up for that 15,000 a season salary are not going to worry if you know anything about Bach. They just want to beat you out.
SO, practice more and discuss less.
