It's a small 5 rotary valve tuba pitched in G one step higher than an F tuba. As far as I know it's one of a kind built by Mirafone in the 1960's. The bell and branches appear to be unique to this tuba. They are smaller than the little F tuba Mirafone used to make. The tuba has a very compact and bright tone quality that blends well with a trombone section on some of the higher orchestra parts.
