Recording: Soundtrack to E.T. - I practically wore a hole through the record listening to this one. The original soundtrack (recorded especially for release, and not specifically used in the movie) was Norm Pearson's first big studio call. Great sound! The most recent re-release is great as well, and features music actually used in the movie with Tommy Johnson playing.
Live: Masterclass at USC with Gene Pokorny playing the Fountains of Rome. Every note was epic!!
