I hate to bash a companies product when economies all over the world are taking a beating but: When I played a 201N recently, I thought I was playing into a washtub. I could not fathom how people are getting such a great tone quality etc...

Go with Miraphone, Older selected Cervanys
Hishbruner, etc...

Stay away from St. Petersburg unless you want to throw your money away.

Remember, there are "so called" pushers (salesman) who would love to sell you this instrument. But remember, they are just trying to turn a buck.

If you want a real tuba, call brasswind, Baltimore Brass, Dillon Music, Brook Mays, Custom Music. Any one of the mentioned have years of legitimate sales experience and have a tuba specialist on staff.

Just a little friendly advice..........
