The first tubas that come to mind are the Rudy Meinl and the Yamaha.  Yamaha makes a solid horn with a tone that most people like.  If I remember correctly, Ron Bishop played the Rudy Meinl 3/4 CC for a lot of lighter orchestral rep.  I don't know how it would work for quintet and chamber, but I would figure that it would work very well.  Also, I know a guy who plays a Conn 5J for quintet stuff and he's been very successful using it.  
What kind of horn is your 5/4 CC?
