Yeah, I play my teacher's 981 from time to time, and I love the "stuffiness" of the horn... don't view it as a setback at all. I like the stuffiness of the sound, as well. Compact, yet robust. That's why when I read someone's description of a horn as "stuffy", I don't know whether I should consider it a good thing or a bad thing.
