...........All pretty old stuff and mostly purchased on the used market and then tweeked a bit.

Music Room (isolated from the rest of the house):
Well-Tempered t.t. w/ Marigo mod's and Sumiko cart'
EAD-T-7000 CD-transport
EAD DSP-7000 processor
Sony ST-5950 AM/FM tuner (collecting dust!)
Audio Research SP-9 Preamp w/ Audio Research BL1 Balanced line driver
Audio Artistry Dvorak speakers w/ custom active cross-over and dual sub's
bi-amp'd w/ 2x Mark Levinson M-27 amps
Assorted BEL and MIT cabling
and NO TV allowed!!!!

Very nice, very "real", particularly with acoustic instruments (like tubas of course) & analog playback. The room still needs improved acoustic treatments......still, does pretty good w/ crunchy stuff like track 3 of the H.Zimmer score for Gladiator or track 1/3 of V.Nelhybel's Trittico running at full-tilt.

Family Room:
Denon AV control center reciever
Vandersteen 2C speakers
NHT super zeros for surround speakers
Sony PVM2530/BS Direct Display TV
Sony assorted tuners, VHS, and BETA-HiFi stuff

It sort-of rocks, but I'd rather have an F-tuba than upgrade.

regards,
dmm
