when I was in high school, we got a phone call from a lady that wanted someone to go to a party with her to play for a judge's retirement or something (loooonng time ago) and I tried to play along with her piano playing (by ear, no less) that had all kinds of added arpeggios and weird non-rhythmic stuff. When it was over, she dug through her purse, and said she only had $8 on her, and could she send me the rest?
....but I wised up on that one.
