Hey Dan being that I myself am an advanced senior in high school my suggestions are as follows. Concerto for Bass Tuba by Ralph Vaughn Williams (my favorite), Bruce Broughton Tuba Sonata and Lieder Eines Fahreden Gesellen by Gustav Mahler arranged for tuba by Daniel Perantoni. Also take a look at the Sonata for Tuba by Paul Hindemith.

As for etude books my two favorite sets are the Bel Canto studies by Marco Borodogni and volume one of the Blazevich studies. Sorry, one more etude book that is really fun is Bach for tuba, arranged by Roger Bobo.
