If you've got the 3 grand, I would definitely spend it, but not on that model. Go the next model up, for either brand (yamaha 642 or Besson 967). You'd be making a purchase that your could grow with throughout your entire musical career. The 765 would be short lived if you wanted to get real serious about playing.
