I use a Miraphone 188-CC with my quintet. I have tried other horns including my Eb but I really like the sound we get with the larger horn. I have never found it to be a problem balancing the group, but of course the group I play with really likes to play out. But that is just my imput. Of course were not professionals just a bunch of college kids who do a pretty decent job at weddings and Christmas partys.
