there's also USC with Tommy Johnson, they supposedly have great music tech program. Also, what about Cleveland Institute of Music.. they offer an audio recording major and are closely associated with Case Western Reserve University, which is primarily a tech school. I think Ron Bishop teaches there (for how much longer? i dunno...).
