Jim Self stands while playing solos, he has something he calls a "tu-bra," I think it's a bari sax strap made by NeoTech or something like that. I bought a bari sax strap but it hangs too tight around my ribs and constricts my breathing. If I'm in a pinch it's okay, but I want to find something more comfortable. I think that Dr.Self's sits higher and puts more weight on the shoulders instead of around the ribs.
