I forgot to mention (even with all my rambling in the other post) that the tone in the low register was very clear and accurate. I used it to record my rejected Boston tape - Prokofiev 5 and Walkure recorded very well. Tommy Johnson really liked the sound with the MZR70 recorder and the ECM-MS957 in the 450-seat recital hall at Biola University.
