I did not know that you could not get at the archives with some browsers. And when I said check the archives, it was only because the same points seem to be made (response, tone/sound, fingerings, tuning, etc) each time this question is asked. Same thing for the piston/rotary issue. And not to be confrontational and start a thread about the merits of what should be posted, but what is the difference between Brad asking BBb vs. CC now or John Doe asking BBb vs. CC two months ago? Same question, same pool except for a handful of new people (whom I welcome to contribute to this topic, btw) to answer it. I can't imagine a whole lot will be different.
Sorry to sound like I am so against you, I really don't mean to sound that way. Only this question HAS been asked before and responded to rather thoroughly . . .
