Hi everybody,
I´m into multiple tonguing for a couple of weeks. I´m quite satisfied with the results, but I have a question: I learn it with the Arban Trumpet School, and there is an explanation in the german version, that says, there always should be used tu-ku-tu-ku, because du-gu-du-gu wouldn´t clearly separate the notes and the articulation would become sloppy. But my (small) experience told me, that fast articulation goes easier, more clearly and with less "background noise" when I use the softer doe-goe syllable. Is this right or am I on the best way to cultivate bad habits?
What are your worth opinions?
thanks,
Mario
