I got mine from Dillon almost a year ago. They had a couple of them there to try, and came down a little to match the price that Brasswind was offering. In terms of sound and feel it is very similar to the small yamaha 103 and 620. But the valve arrangement is much more comfortable, in my opinion. Intonation is excellent until you go above the bass clef staff, where it goes pretty flat. I have no trouble with low F at all, and can play it smoothly down to CCC without any trouble. I think it's an ideal small student instrument, and I would like to obtain a Weril valve section in BBb to graft onto an older instrument. Anybody know who I could call?
