I just had my first performance with my Meinl Weston 2145. It being a brass-heavy concert, I was getting a lot of water in the horn. The 2145 has three nicely placed spit valves, but I still had some gurgling toward the end of the second half. I managed to spin my horn and get the water out at intermission, but I hope not to have to do that at every performance.
Do any past or present 2145 owners have some advice for clearing my tuba?
Thanks,
mjrc
