With all due respect, he did not get zero responses. There have been many posts on this forum about what ought to be in the Journal. He might have gotten no responses to HIS request, in which case he should do like everyone else and search the archives.

I myself posted at length on a couple of occasions, talking about the philosophy of the Journal. The response I got back was that I and others like me should submit articles, etc. The response was well-intended and I appreciated it, but it falls in the same category as the retorts to complainers that suggest the complainers should fix the organization through their own action. It ain't gonna happen, because the complainers won't join the organization until the problems are addressed.

I somewhat agree with the notion that the Journal need not be exciting. But it should always be informative, timely, and relevant.
