As for spray on spot laquer, don't do it. I was thinking about it once and so I investigated it. Even the best repair techs can't make spot laquer look like the original. If you want to relaquer, they have to remove the bell section (or wherever the problem area is), strip it, and totally relaquer. Then, of course, reassemble your horn. You don't want to go through all of that.
