I use the same K&M stand for my bell front York Master and my upright Besson 981. Height has to be adjusted differently, and the bar with fork arms has to be rotated 180° as the first has front action and the second has top pistons.
Even before using the stand I did not find much difference in playing bell front and bell up. The greatest difference being, that with the sound from the bell front tends to be heard more indirectly in form of the reflections from the walls.
