James Madison Univeristy in Virginia has a degree in Music Industry. You can focus on Audio technology, marketing, law or management. I got a BM in MUI from JMU (while practicing all the time) and focused on general performing arts management. I had a subsequent internship with the arts council of Fairfax County. Other people from this program interned at the Kennedy and Lincoln Centers, with orchestra managments, and in recording studios and live sound companies. It's a very flexible program with relatively well connected faculty at a decent school. The major plus is you get to study with Kevin Stees, one of the most amazing tuba solists that most non mid-atlantic people haven't heard about.

There are a few other Industry/ buisness programs out there. I think one of the best is in Tennessee? I'm not sure.
