Depends on what you call jazz. Generally speaking, you should start with "The Real Book" vol. 1 and 2. There might be a volume three now. There are a lot of fake Real Books out there so be careful what you buy.
The one you want won't be sold in stores. Ask a friend who plays in a jazz band where to find one. And be prepared to spend some bucks.
