Someone who doubles well indeed and has made his own bass trombones from scratch tried the B&S (single valve) and thought it was quite nice, the lowest-priced bass trombone he'd seen, and a "sleeper." He was surprised more people who doubled weren't snapping them up. Yep, it's not your Conn with Greenhoe valves, but how much do you care to spend on your doubling instruments.
