Mark, 2 Hz and 2 cents ain't the same thing. A-442 is actually about 8 cents sharper than A-440, although that is still only about a quarter of an inch on a euphonium. But if you add that to a normal amount of pull, it might look a little long.
This whole thing of tuning for 442 or 444 just bugs me. Why wouldn't any instrument be set up to tune as high as A-444? You can always pull the slide, but when you run out of push, you have to lip everything up.
