I am actually just getting ready to perfom this piece soon. The tuba part is not extremely demanding but make sure you keep your ears open. There is a nice lyrical "solo" in the second movement, make sure you play well. I am playing this piece on contrabass tuba and suggest you do the same. The range extends from low FF# to top staff Bb.
