My 4/4 size York makes me my money. A lot of research and developement went into that horn that got transferred over to other people's tubas. I never got paid for playing a note on it, but I do get paid to repair horns based upon the advanced skills I learned over the 5 YEARS of experimenting in the 'off hours' that I invested in my tuba and career. Anyone can take a look at it by going to www.dillonmusic.com and clicking on "Friends" then "Don Butterfield". That's my York CC he is playing. Just thought I'd weigh in with a different perspective. When ever I get another one that plays just as well or better, I'll have it silver plated. Matt
