This has been discussed many, many times before and I have yet to hear anyone offer an answer ANYONE can understand. Simply put, a BBb tuba is what we in the US commonly refer to as a 'tuba'. To Europeans and the rest of the world, a Bb tuba is what we here in the US call a euphonium or baritone. Start the difficult to understand answers no and 'flame away'. Next, we can talk about the difference between an Eb tuba and EEb tuba.
