Floyd played a lot of Mahler in S.F. Ozawa did a fair amount back in the 70's. I believe that the first time Floyd played the 6th in S.F. was under Kenneth Schermerhorn, as he substituted for Ozawa at the last minute. Edo De Waart did ALL of the Mahler symphonies in S.F., although he never did any of the 10th symphony completions. Simon Rattle did the Cooke III completion, and Leonard Slatkin did the Remo Mazzetti I completion. Floyd played on both of those. Blomstedt only did the 2nd and 5th, as best as I can remember. However, many guest conductors did Mahler during the Blomstedt era. Floyd certainly played a number of them under MTT as well. I heard Floyd play Mahler many times.
