I doubt that we have ever met unless you were in Ted's studio several years ago. But since I lived in OK for 24 years, we've probably crossed paths some in the past.
I was a student of Ted's back when he used to travel up I-35 to the other school. I haven't ever been to any of the workshops. I spend all my summers teaching drum corps so I haven't had the time. Boy I remember how pissed off Ted used to get when he would discover a bad habit that I learned during my first years of marching drum corps. Thankfully Ted helped me overcome these and I later went on to march in another corps where I learned from much better teachers than in my previous corps.
Although I haven't been to any of the workshops, I was at the masterclass that Sam gave Ted's combined OU/OSU tuba studios back in April 96 before he and Ted decided to try the workshop.
