I too had not heard of them, until they performed at NABBA this weekend in Little Rock. Regardless of your feelings about Brass Bands, this group has to be recognized for what they do. The ensemble sound produced was something I can't describe. I was almost brought to tears by a ballad played in one of their competition pieces. They produce a dark, rich, and colorful texture that sounds like it couldn't possibly be made by humans. To say I was enlightened would be an understatement. It is a shame all of my musical experiences are not that profound. I tip my hat to the group, and am very thankful I had the chance to hear them play. I am looking forward to their concert tonight in Columbus
