The old (late 1960's early 1970's) Ormandy conducting the Phildelphia Orchestra, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, brass bands, real cannons, church bells, etc... starts with the hymn (in English). It is a hymn for the deleverence of the Russian people and is very moving (study Russian history and you will understand).
Try the Sony label classical musical offerings. This company has re-released many outstanding old recordings on CD (fairly inexpensive). Also, I always thought that Ormandy was superb with Russian music.
