I believe it's citrus based (so also organic I guess) but it's not nearly as gross as paint stripper. If it did work, I suppose you'd have to really flush out the horn well after using it, since it's also organic. Or, what about heating up the water once it's inside the horn with a heat-stripper or something? Maybe that would be too tough on the instrument though.
Just a couple of thoughts.
