I owned two of these (one after the other) back in the later '70's / early '80's. I sold one simply to buy a shinier one, put a slightly different 5th valve on it (do a better job than I did on the first one), and have some money left over.
This is a "true" 3/4 instrument with tons-o-guts (low range), singing high range, and even middle range. In other words, a very "evenly-responding" instrument...and with a very easy-to-play-in-tune scale.
New ones will start appearing shortly, as consumer demand has caused Miraphone to produce this model once more.
