A good way to tell if it is an older horn is if it has the Yamaha name and emblem, along with the model number, printed in brown or black lettering on the bell. By the way, enjoy the new horn as much as possible! There is always a certain amount of joy that goes along with a new horn purchase, as I and many others can attest.
