Considering how few were made in the first place and how many were sold to schools which ultimately destroyed them, the Holton BB-345's don't come up often in the best of times. For there to have been five change hands publicly in the last year is an anomaly. And how many of those were "good deals"? It depends on who's doing the accounting.

The big Conns seem to run in spells. 25J's aren't that uncommonly seen, but the front-action Conns are much more rare. There was quite a batch of 2xJ's on the market a few months back. I haven't really been paying much attention since then, but I suspect they will be seen again in the future.

Taylor Music almost always has a few 25J's for sale, though, if you don't mind paying a fair price for one that has been overhauled. If fair=good, then they are available right now.
