That's a tough one !

I really think it has to be the 'baby' Highams 1891 5v in brass. It's so beautifully made and the condition for its age is amazing.

Having said that, the Courtois has the clearest sound you could ever wish for and is effortless to play, despite being full of dents, and with a badly damaged (and badly repaired) bell.

The Hawkes has the fullest sound and is built like a tank.
