I might have come up with an idea (a joke, but not a "joke")...
If you guys decorate your bells (some removable paint of some sort) the "dance" itself may not have to be very impressive.
The only way to learn to play louder is to play louder. At first, it will sound like crap. With patience, analysis, and persistance, you can learn to make the louder sounds pleasing sounds.
