I played both of these side by side about a year ago. I was very impressed with both, but if I had been in the market for an F tuba at the time, I would have bought the Mirafone. I thought it had a more solid low register than the MW (which is still very good) and had a warmer overall sound. Plus, I felt ergonomically the Mirafone fit me better.
