I am a French postgraduate student under the tuition of Steven Mead at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, England. I am currently engaged in research on the use of the different tenor-tubas. The purpose of this study is to establish the extent to which the euphonium is replacing other tenor-tubas in music today and why things are changing. My study involves collecting information from tenor-tuba players on an international basis.
