Actually, there might be an orchestral tubist or two in Russia who does, just as I'm sure there are professional photographers there wishing they had the money to sell their crappy Kiev camera to the likes of me so they can buy a Mamiya.

But you could ask this question a bunch of ways, such as:

What pro orchestral tubists use Weril tubas?
What pro orchestral tubists use Jupiter tubas?
What pro orchestral tubists use Lidl tubas?
and so on.

Each of these instruments has its place in the pantheon of tubas, even the St. Pete. They don't need use in a pro orchestra to justify their existence. At the price of Rudy Meinls, though, it makes sense to wonder if pros actually use them (which, of course, they do).
