Hey if anyone will be in the Indianapolis area this weekend, there is a world premeire of a new ballet, Willow Maiden. The low brass writing is phenominal! I have heard some of the low brass profs here put it in the category of Mahler 6ish low brass wise.
The concerts are Friday and Saturday night at 8 and the Sunday at 2 pm at Clowes Hall on the Campus of Butler University.
If you want any details drop me aline. I wouldn't waste your time if this piece wasn't awesome, i only wish I had a bigger horn to play it on.
