Hi everyone,
I recently bought a horn from Custom music in Detroit and, without thinking, got a hard case and gig bag to go with it. Now I'm realizing that I won't need the hard case unless I'm flying with the horn, so I have to trust the Custom music case as a flight case. Has anyone tried this before? The case looks to be pretty strong, sort of trapezoid-shaped with a molded bulge for the bell, with pretty heavy walls and padding inside. I'm sure some of you are familiar with these hard cases...can they double as flight cases?
