I also have bad allergies and moderate asthma, and it just happened to be especially bad this season for some reason, so I visited my family doctor. She said that it has been an exceptionally bad year for allergies, and prescribed a new allergy drug called Singular (very small beige pill) that I take once a day, and very strange looking disk like inhaler called the Advair Diskus. Coupled together, they are fantastic. I literally have not used my albuterol inhaler in 2 weeks, and my severity of my allergies is lessened considerably. You should really ask your doctor about these medications.
