I currently own a Rudy 5/4 rose brass F and absolutely love it. I'm in the process of aquiring a 4/4 CC. I play them because I love their sound and resonance, not only with the ensemble but with me as the player. The groups I play with also love the sound and style the horns can bring to the groups. I have played just about every model of tuba available and I would rather own a couple/few Rudy's and save some money in the process. Again, these are my perceptions and opinions along with the members of my groups. I would highly recommend anyone trying these horns out and developing their own opinions.
