I just played Mark Nelson's older B&S F tuba, which is quite a bit larger than my MW 182. It played surprisingly the same, and even though it is bigger, it had a much brighter sound than the 182. The one time I played a 45SLP, it felt HUGE, but that was a while ago and I might not react the same way now.
