A few years ago I had a custom case built by a guy at HARRDROAD(AT)aol.com

It was made using the same material that the Anvil cases are made from -- quarter-inch ABS plastic covered plywood with extruded aluminum corners and edges, with recessed latches. They charge primarily by outside dimensions and could fill with structural foam so that you could cut the foam to exactly fit your horn.

My case (for a large keyboard) ran at about $400 complete. My next two best estimates were $850 and over $1000.
