You should try financing a string instrument. Anything better than a student model makes a Yorkbrunner sound cheap!
The common thread to all of these posts is sacrifice. To buy my first professional quality CC tuba I took a little over a year off of school and got a full time job, not to mention borrowing as much money as possible from anybody that I felt remotely comfortable to ask. I certainly don't recommend taking time off from school, but I do know that sacrifice of some sort is essential. One needn't necessarily buy a Hirsbrunner to make it in music, but it helps to have an instrument that not only has a great sound but is also easy to play.
